Interactive Team Challenge Room Equipment

Devil's Eye is interactive team challenge room equipment designed for active game centers, family entertainment centers, indoor amusement venues, and immersive entertainment projects.

Players move around the room, read tasks displayed on wall-mounted LCD modules, locate the correct target, and press the illuminated response button below the screen. During the challenge, the Devil's Eye can enter a detection phase. Players must react quickly, identify the danger direction, and use the central pillar as cover before continuing the task.

The game combines task recognition, physical movement, fast response, infrared detection, hiding strategy, and team cooperation. It provides a more spatial and strategic experience than a conventional reaction wall or simple push-button game.

How the Devil's Eye Challenge Works

The confirmed gameplay follows five main steps:

  1. Read the task information shown on a wall-mounted LCD module.
  2. Move around the room and find the correct target.
  3. Press the illuminated response button below the display.
  4. Watch for the Devil's Eye detection phase.
  5. Hide behind the central pillar, avoid detection, and return to the challenge.

The main game screen can display real-time information such as the countdown, life status, level score, and current targets. Exact task content, penalties, level rules, and win conditions depend on the final software version.

Display and Response Button System

Each interaction point uses two separate components:

  • An LCD display module presents the task, number, target, or other game information.
  • A round illuminated button receives the player's response.

Separating the task display from the response button creates a clear interaction process. Players first understand the task, then confirm their choice through physical movement and button input.

The reference project uses 20 LCD display modules and 20 round response buttons distributed around the room. Final quantities and positions can be adjusted according to the approved layout.

Infrared Detection and Hide Gameplay

The Devil's Eye units work with high-speed infrared sensors to create the detection element of the game. Players must monitor the room while completing the wall tasks and react when a detection phase begins.

The central pillar is part of the gameplay rather than a decorative room feature. It provides a physical cover point and encourages players to change direction, communicate, and plan their movement around the room.

The reference configuration includes four Devil's Eye units and four high-speed infrared sensors. Final sensor positions must be planned according to the room dimensions, pillar location, equipment arrangement, and required detection coverage.

Real Time Game Feedback

A main game display can present information such as:

  • Remaining time
  • Life status
  • Current level
  • Player or team score
  • Required targets
  • Completed targets

This allows players to understand their progress during the session without leaving the challenge area. It also helps spectators and waiting groups follow the game.

Interface design, available information, language options, level content, and scoring rules should be confirmed according to the selected software version.

Reference System Configuration

The confirmed 5 × 5 meter and 6 × 6 meter reference projects use the following core equipment:

  • 4 high-speed infrared sensors
  • 4 Devil's Eye units
  • 20 LCD display modules
  • 20 illuminated response buttons
  • 1 control cabinet
  • 5 microcontrollers for relay control
  • 1 set of Devil's Eye challenge software
  • 1 set of sensor control software
  • 1 wireless network adapter

The control cabinet in the reference project supports 20 light-switching channels and 20 button-control channels.

Reference shipping information is approximately 2.4 cubic meters and 60 kilograms. Final volume and weight depend on the confirmed equipment list and packing method.

Supporting Equipment and Supply Scope

The reference project BOM lists the following supporting items as customer-provided equipment:

  • 55-inch main television display
  • 22-inch touchscreen
  • PC host computer
  • Television and touchscreen brackets
  • HDMI cable
  • Network cables
  • Signal cables
  • Power cables

Models, quantities, compatibility, and supply responsibility must be confirmed before production. Customers should use the final quotation and technical proposal as the official supply list.

Custom Room Layout and Player Capacity

Devil's Eye is a room-based interactive attraction rather than a fixed-size game machine. Player capacity depends on the room dimensions, equipment spacing, central pillar design, entrance position, and circulation layout.

Existing reference projects include:

  • 5 × 5 meter challenge room
  • 6 × 6 meter challenge room

These are reference layouts, not fixed construction requirements. SPIRIT can adjust the room dimensions, display positions, response-button arrangement, sensor locations, and equipment quantities according to the available venue.

To prepare a layout proposal, please provide:

  • Floor plan or accurate room dimensions
  • Ceiling height
  • Entrance and exit positions
  • Existing columns and structural restrictions
  • Expected player capacity
  • Target customer groups
  • Preferred room theme
  • Required software language and functions

Suitable Commercial Venues

Devil's Eye can be planned for:

  • Family entertainment centers
  • Active game centers
  • Interactive game rooms
  • Indoor amusement parks
  • Immersive entertainment venues
  • Shopping mall entertainment zones
  • Team-building centers
  • Challenge-room businesses
  • Existing venues adding multiplayer interactive equipment

The attraction can operate as a standalone challenge room or be combined with LED floor games, reaction-button games, laser challenges, digital sports equipment, climbing games, and other active entertainment attractions.
