Multiplayer Free-Roam VR Experience
The 8-Player Free-Roam VR Arena is a commercial multiplayer VR/XR entertainment system designed for shared, location-based gameplay. Up to eight players can use wireless PICO 4 Enterprise headsets and 6DoF motion controllers within the configured play area.
Head and controller movements are tracked in six degrees of freedom, allowing players to turn, aim, crouch and interact naturally inside supported games. The system provides a more social format than individual VR booths and can accommodate competitive, cooperative, family and group experiences.
PICO 4 Enterprise Headsets
The standard system includes eight PICO 4 Enterprise headsets, with two 6DoF motion controllers supplied for each headset.
Each headset features a 4320 × 2160 display resolution, 72Hz or 90Hz refresh rate, 105-degree field of view and pancake optical lenses. The hardware configuration includes 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, a Qualcomm XR2 processor and a 5300mAh internal battery.
Stepless electric IPD adjustment from 62 to 72mm helps operators prepare the headsets for different users. The reference headset weight is approximately 295g, excluding the strap assembly.
Battery Rotation for Daily Operation
Eight BOBOVR battery sets are included in the confirmed configuration. Each set contains two 5200mAh batteries that can be rotated during operation to support headset power management between sessions.
Actual operating time depends on the selected game, headset settings, battery condition and venue operating procedures.
Central Control and Screen Monitoring
The system includes a central control cabinet with a 27-inch touchscreen, keyboard, mouse, router, dongle and power supply. Its reference cabinet dimensions are 742 × 504 × 1639mm.
The supplied PC host uses an Intel i5-12490F processor, GTX 1660 Super 6GB graphics card, 16GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB M.2 SSD.
Through the HyperSpace management system, operators can start or close games, update content, view on-demand operating data and monitor the live screens of connected VR headsets from one control point.
12 VR and XR Game Titles
The confirmed content package includes 12 game titles covering war, competitive, horror, family and science-fiction themes.
The available titles include Puyo Puyo Brawl, Realm Knight, Alternate Space - Innovation, Cyber Impact, Future Battle, Puyo Puyo Sharpshooter, Zombie Frenzy, Sharpshooter Adventure, Island Defense, Shadow Leader, Dynamic Cube and Spin Fighter!
The mix of action, competition and family-oriented content allows operators to offer different experiences for casual visitors, groups and repeat customers.
Commercial Venue Applications
The multiplayer VR arena can be incorporated into VR arcades, family entertainment centers, indoor amusement venues, shopping-mall entertainment zones and indoor team-building facilities.
Its eight-headset configuration and centralized management system make it suitable for venues seeking a dedicated group attraction instead of multiple independent VR booths. It can also complement digital sports, active games and other immersive attractions within a larger entertainment center.
Site and Operating Requirements
The final arena footprint, safety clearance, minimum ceiling height, electrical requirements, network conditions and player circulation plan must be confirmed before installation.
Session duration, hourly capacity, recommended age, minimum height and the number of players supported by each individual game should also be verified according to the selected content and venue operating policy.
