Turn a Physical Climbing Wall into an Interactive Game

This interactive climbing wall combines a real climbing surface with projected game content and AI vision-based motion tracking. Players climb, reach, and touch physical holds while digital targets, scores, and visual effects respond to their movements in real time.

The system adds a digital game layer to traditional climbing without replacing the physical wall, creating an active attraction that combines climbing, reaction challenges, competition, and cooperative play.

Controller-Free AI Motion Tracking

AI vision technology recognizes player movements and interactions without requiring handheld or wearable controllers. When a player reaches a projected target or moves across the wall, the system processes the action and provides immediate visual and scoring feedback.

Up to four players can participate in supported sessions, allowing the same climbing wall to provide solo, multiplayer, competitive, and cooperative experiences.

Competitive and Cooperative Climbing Games

Confirmed game modes include Climbing Ball, Cannon Battle, and Circuit Challenge.

Climbing Ball is a two-player competition in which players climb and hit a moving ball toward the opponent’s scoring zone. Cannon Battle divides the wall into red and blue sides, allowing players to touch projected targets and attack the opposing base. Circuit Challenge requires two players to activate different nodes and reconnect a virtual circuit before time expires.

These confirmed game modes are designed for two players, with a reference playing time of 1–3 minutes per round and a recommended age of 8 or above.

Multiple Experiences on One Climbing Wall

Different games and visual themes can run on the same hardware platform, allowing a venue to change the experience without rebuilding the climbing wall. Cloud-based game and application updates are supported, while the management system provides remote setup, maintenance, and scheduled power controls.

The system also supports gameplay recording, instant replay, video download, and sharing functions, helping players preserve and share their climbing experiences.

Installation Options and Space Requirements

The standard ceiling-mounted version has a recommended activity area of 5 × 3.5 m and a minimum area of 3 × 2.5 m. A customized floor-standing installation is also available, with a recommended area of 4.5 × 5 m.

The installation area should have a ceiling height of no more than 2.8 m, controlled ambient lighting, indoor conditions, and a wired internet connection.

The final project layout should also confirm the climbing wall structure, hold arrangement, landing surface, fall-protection measures, player circulation, and applicable local safety requirements.

Suitable Indoor Applications

The interactive climbing wall is suitable for family entertainment centers, indoor sports venues, climbing gyms, trampoline parks, children’s activity centers, shopping malls, and other active entertainment spaces.

It can be planned as a standalone attraction or incorporated into a larger indoor sports and adventure zone alongside obstacle courses, trampolines, challenge games, and other active-play equipment.
